Quoted from Reality_Studio:Sent a support email to Stern but in the meantime started to probe the issue myself. Pic one shows the issue, ramp goes up, gets caught up on the right gargoyle, ramp won't come down, glass must come off. The ramp looks to be too much to the right so I looked around but didn't see any obvious way to adjust it from under the table (pic 2). Maybe the house has to be taken apart but if that's the case I'll let me distributor dude handle it. One solution I'm trying is in pic 3. I lift the right gargoyle to access the screw. That screw seems to hold down the large metal bracket that the ball hits, and it seems like it slowly over time rotates left to where it eventually blocks the ramp. So what I've tried for now is rotating that metal bracket as far away from the ramp as possible, hold it there, then tighten the screw as much as I can. I'll have to play some games and see if that solution holds but I suspect over time the ball bashing it will just rotate it right back to where it blocks the ramp.
If anyone else has this issue and has a solution please let me know! If I hear back from Stern with a solution I'll let people here know.[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]
Your gargoyle looks slightly twisted. Can you losen and twist out of way of the ramp? The whole metal bracket the garg sits on......
Quoted from Pinstein:Premium owners please chime in when you game gets delivered!
My premium came Friday

So I loosened them and repositioned. So now they move freely. Although after a few games the bracket gets hammered and moves. Thus making them catch again. Any ideas?

Dumb question, but did you remove the shipping foam from under neither the playfield that protects the gargoyles during shipping?
Stern always drops the ball on toppers. Star Wars? Woulda sold a ton at game release. Now, probably not. Black knight? Woulda sold a ton at game release. Now, probably not. On and on, we’ll never see a topper for Elvira. They should just stop trying. It’s pathetic.
I’m having an issue, each time the skull on the ramp is lit to start the haunt, I shoot up the ramp. Instead of holding the ball while it plays the animation the ball dribbles out into the pop lanes On the right. Thoughts? It’s doing it 100% of the time.

Pin Becoming a favorite all time of mine along with JP and TWD
Same here. I bought it as a place holder till my MMR Royal came. Now we’re keeping Elvira too. NEED MORE SPACE
The bottom of the post has a nut fitting on it. Need a long throat socket. Screw it right on out. Never ever pound them out.
Quoted from jfh:Technically there wasn’t one but they generally sold for about $15k (USD)
Sweet Jesus. 1 of those or 2 premiums. Easy decision
Quoted from jandrea95:Many were having this issue, myself included. Its a super easy fix fortunately!
Around 3:10 of this video he very well explains the fix. I believe ive seen him in this thread, he has some super helpful videos for noobs (like myself) and veterans alike.
Dude. Are those pinstadiums? You lost me.
Quoted from HurryUpPinball:So tonight I went to play a few games of Elvira before watching some TV and low and behold my machine would not boot (It is less than 1 month old). My stadium lights were getting power and the board had several red LEDs but nothing else. After ruling out the power issue I did some research and it appeared to be a corrupted SD card. So I spent the better part of an hour downloading software and flashing it to a new SD card. Also took a detour into issues related to only half of the memory showing up on the newly formatted SD card and sorted that out. Flashed the software to the new SD card and everything is up and running again. Turns out is was just a SD card that went bad. I am going to put together a video tutorial on how to do this and will upload it here once available just in case anyone comes across the same issue.

Your stadium lights are the problem
Lyman should be Senior Vice President of Pinball Code. He should over see and train all coders. He should help develop the rules and oversee coding of all games. His talent could benefit all Stern games. If he is like me he also wants to be hands on, so maybe as the SVP of PC he can cherry pick 1 title a year that is all his.
Quoted from littlecammi:With $1300 in mods purchased so far I have over $10K in my EHoH LE:
296.61 Omega plus lighting from PinStadium
Quoted from gumnut01:Thanks for posting. The only solution I can see is a quicker lift. If it’s a 12-24v motor maybe they can increase the power to raise it quicker. If it was a arduino then it could be fixed through coding. This should have been a solenoid lift and release.
Shame. I’m out. I will check back in the future to see if there is a fix. Hopefully there is.
Thanks for all your help.
You are out on one of the best games ever over this? That’s banana monkey crazy. My game has 1000+ plays and it’s fine. Couple dents, no big deal.
Quoted from gonzo73:Ok, you guys have had your Elvira's a few months, how are they holding up , build quality wise?
Stern pins always feel like rickety balsa to me.
I played Elvira at Banning in January at INDISC, and loved the 2 games I played.
This is the first stern, I've even contemplated buying.
But Stern's business practices disgust me.
Is it as great as it looks?
I love Nordman games.
Convince me I should give the Evil empire my money.
Message from the wavering Freeeek Kingdom.
Don’t buy one, you don’t deserve it with that attitude.
Quoted from Krupps4:Looks like an amazing update, but I don’t get all the gushing with the need to thank Mr. Sheats. It just seems like such a fanboy thing to do. I mean, shouldn’t he be thanking us for (1) purchasing an $8000 - $15000 pinball machine that was incomplete at the time of purchase and (2) waiting patiently for a year in order for it to become close to complete? Again, I love Lyman’s coding but he is just doing his job and fulfilling his commitment to complete a pin that we all purchased a long time ago. No need to act like he’s doing us a favor.
Take your poo poo elsewhere. We’re all excited!
I’m more than thrilled with my premium I got for 7200 way back when the game was released. These prices are insane now
Quoted from jtgribble:No worries if you missed it. I forgot yesterday too. Changed the date to Christmas day, played the hidden room and got the special clip and changed the date back. I'm really surprised there's no Easter egg on Halloween.
How come there isn’t an Easter egg on Easter???
Quoted from jfh:Do you make the back door shot often?
Very frequently. Wait, what are you saying?!?!
