That’s unfortunate as Elvira’s sexy innuendo was one of my favorite things in SS. Maybe there are hidden/unused Elvira clips in the ROM that could be unlocked with Pinball Browser in the future? Wishful thinking anyway. The “I’m having multiple jackpots” and “Don’t worry...I’ll get him up” call outs in SS always put a smile on my face, lol. Kinda missing my SS now...hopefully HOH ends up filling the void

I just dropped $1225 on this topper and don’t even own EHOH. Will be looking for an LE soon to install it on. This game sounds like it will be keeper and have been following this thread for a while. Still miss my Scared Stiff, but want to give EHOH a try next.

Sure enough, the EHOH topper I bought has bent corners on the base plate. Crappy packing job by Stern, what a shame. What’s the best way to flatten those corners back out? Disassemble the topper and use a rubber mallet or put the metal plate in a vice? I’m in no hurry to fix as I don’t own an EHOH yet. Just curious what others have done to fix this.

Just bought Elvira LE 356 from a seller in Texas and need the game shipped to California. Besides STI, are there any other reputable freight transport companies that will do pickup, wrapping/packing and shipping on legs cross country? I have a quote from Michelle at STI, but wanted to see if there were any other options recommended. Can’t wait to add this beauty to the collection!

After months of searching, I found LE #356 on Craigslist for a crazy low price and I’m in the club! STI did an amazing job shipping it cross country, but there are two chips in the powder, one on the left rail and another on one of the legs. I’m thinking I can ship those two parts to Robert and he can sandblast and redo them with the correct factory red color?

Otherwise, this HUO example is mint condition. I can’t wait to start modding and playing this game! I already have the crypt gargoyle topper and Medisinyl mods to install after I go through it and make sure everything functions properly. Still can’t believe this gem is finally here in the collection

The family crypt topper is installed and game plays perfectly. Set a GC score of 262M on second game ever…reached house haunt, super party jackpot, angry gappa and a bunch of other modes. The amount of content in this game is incredible, I felt like I was playing through a movie…super cool!

Will install full set of Medisinyl mods tomorrow and then start looking for other mods including those sweet apron video screens. The sound system on this definitely needs an upgrade, there’s a noticeable lack of bass. The game had 653 lifetime plays and the previous owner hadn’t even removed the factory foam pads zip tied around the gargoyle rods under the playfield. I snipped those off and the little guys jump perfectly during game play.

Missing the raunchy innuendo from Scared Stiff, it’s too bad they didn’t program in an adult mode for the grown ups. Maybe some of the call outs could be changed with Pinball Browser. Fantastic all-around game as it is, though.

He had it listed for $10k, I offered $11k to lock up the deal and knew he was selling way low. Shipping with STI was $608 or thereabouts. Patience paid off, this game is so much fun! Got a GC of 377M tonight on my third game ever and got deep into Gappa Angry mode. The code on this game is bonkers

Was considering touching it up since I have more important things in life to worry about than those two minor chips. If anyone knows a close or perfect color match paint, I’d like to try touching them up first before sending them out to be repowdered

I close all of the blinds during the day and house is like a bat cave, lol. That’s what happens when you scatter pins all over the house. I tried the cover thing, but that is a hassle and looks tacky, plus I like to enjoy the art on my games. Need bigger house with 2000 sq ft game room…someday

I paid $1000 for my Elvira topper and it was worth every penny. It looks bad ass with the game on or off and puts a smile on my and my fiancé’s faces every time Elvira pops out and screams. The game looks naked without the topper. Kind of like a Rolls Royce without the hood ornament.

Does Cliffy make a protector set for Elvira HoH? If not, where are the trouble spots to lay down mylar? I checked his website and couldn't find a kit.

Had a monster of a game tonight and decimated my previous GC score with 2.1B on factory settings. What a rush! Got Gappa Angry twice and reached level 4, house party and most of the modes in the game. I didn’t really understand the strategy in this game or appreciate how deep the rules were, so I watched this great walkthrough video to better understand. Next time I know exactly what to do and will try to sell the mansion. Such an awesome game, it’s never leaving!

Yes, probably for cost savings or in a rush to get the game completed. Your color insert brackets are fantastic, I’ll keep ordering them as long as you keep coming up with new ones. I played a few games on Elvira after installing the mods and that damn fan is super loud. Will order your quiet fan kit for this game soon.

OK, maybe I'll reconsider installing a Pinwoofer GT in EHOH. I know it made a huge difference on Wonka LE which had no bass whatsoever.

I finally got around to installing the full cliffy protectors on my Elvira LE. I installed the drop target protector incorrectly, so I’ll open the game up and fix the orientation this week.

Couple of questions for you EHOH experts. Is there any way to fix that gap at the Deadheads entrance? It has light bleeding through it and I’d like to fix it. Also, does anyone make any nice skeleton or ghoul decals to install under the two pop up doors on the medisinyl coffin mod?

Lastly, that 36-24-36 shot that fires across the playfield is missing the targets low. How can it be adjusted to hit the targets, as designed for the mode?

Yes, the foil cabinet decals are a very nice feature on the SE and 40th, I love the way those look on my Maiden LE! Then again, the blood red dripping side armor is bad ass on the LE. In the end, it's basically the same game, so I'll need to see a 40th in person before I decide to go through all that effort. Any EHOH is a winner in my book. I lucked out and found this mint HUO LE on Craigslist for $11k about a year ago...still pinching myself.

I’m being offered $17k cash or a straight trade for NIB Black Knight SOR with that animated knight topper for my Elvira LE. I’ve had my fun with Elvira and need something more challenging. The other pin I’m looking at is Alien LV. Leaning toward the Black Knight trade, but torn between those two games. Is that a fair straight across trade and do any of you own BKSOR LE? Is it a keeper in a large collection or a turd? I know Alien LV is bad ass, but a NIB BKSOR with topper is not easy to come by. Would love to hear from others for a sanity check before I let my Elvira LE go. Godzilla LE, Jurassic Park LE and Rush LE are already coming in the next few weeks. I guess I just love the LEs

This is really helpful from someone who owns all of these pins! Does BKSOR have shallow code or is it pretty deep? I'm really leaning toward taking the cash now and buying an Alien LV, plus that leaves me with some extra $. The Elvira LE is going to another local Pinside collector and a good home, so I'm OK with either deal. I'll give this more thought and sorry for hijacking the Elvira owner's thread.

I appreciate that and yes, it’s not a money issue, but I’m out of space and basically folding up and storing half of my pins now to maintain the collection I have. We’ll see if Zilla, Jurassic and Rush last for me, as the first two themes aren’t even my cup of tea. I usually keep the music pins and I’m a Rush fan, so that one will most definitely stay. I couldn’t ignore the rave reviews for Godzilla and Jurassic Park, so I want to try them out. I like deep challenging pins that keep me coming back for more. If it’s too easy or repetitive, it won’t stay for long.

I’m reading that Alien is clunky and has a lot of quality issues. Have you had any problems with yours and does the game look and feel cheap? I also noticed it’s a wide body and I’m already tight on space. I don’t want to buy another headache, as good as that game is when working properly. I’m really torn with this decision right and and flip flopping between the Alien LV and BKSOR LE.

I reached out to Melissa at Cointaker for a quote and will give it some more thought. I know either game will be great and I can always sell or trade down the road. Maybe I’ll kick the BKSOR around for now and if I don’t click with the game, I’ll sell it and get the Alien LV after the issues are worked out and game code is polished. Decisions…
