I was considering a MMr or MBr remake initially, but with this theme, real b/w type physical mechs and Lyman I took pause. 20 more games on the latest code I was hooked. Easy to explain and a lot of fun to shoot. Happy with a premium purchase.

The best thing about Lyman coding the game is he finds gaps players exploit.

The drive me crazy mode is currently the one weak part of the game imo. Odd choice for a shooter rod.

No one knows, but if demand is there, Stern will likely make more of them.
I’m not sure Lyman needs to do more for any company at this point. He is simply the best at his craft, working at his meticulous pace, and probably doing just fine.

I know this is EHOH thread but agree.
I like original themes but that upper pf didn’t come as close as the inspiring original in 1980.
That said, the topper is quite bad-ass.
We will see with Elvira.
Either way, it’s been an awesome game so far.

Two small things that would be cools adds ons and unique to HOH:
- the thunder and lightening at game start is awesome. Amazing. Please integrate into attract mode!
-speaking of attract, tutorial mode should have a random “zombie player”- just the creepy hand plunging the ball. Would fit the theme so well.

Saw topper today confirmed same static Elvira expression as back glass which can flip up.
Skulls on sides of crypt each have red LED eyes. Gargoyles are decent static sculpts with LED boards at base.
It all must respond to code, but no info included.
Forgot to grab video as I was dumbfounded how this was twice as much as the BK topper next to it.
I didn’t see any plaque if these are limited.
Maybe someone who bought one can share soon.

The two Gargoyle sculpts were not bad.
I just didn’t see 1k worth of value, someone else may.
My concern is reliability of these toppers.
Friend had three R2d2 toppers with various issues before giving up- but at least had a shot for one to work at release.
People clearly love them, but at these higher price points will Stern support the guts of them longer term.

Those w/ new toppers - two quick ones to try before you send it back - or dive deeper:
1. Does the topper light up? (Chk Inputs etc)
2. 1.0 code w/default scream feature changed in settings to 100%?

AIQ has the shots-it’s Elwin- maybe the deep rules that some seem to want most.
But Elvira has the shots and the charm with Cassandra, Lymans code, callouts, music - basically full assets -with HUMOR working together with the theme. One of the most balanced lcd era Sterns I’ve experienced.

Told the price is $10499 yest which was communicated from Stern. No idea how many will be made. Distributors can adjust as they wish from there as some have been doing with other titles.

The 40th is nice and has mirrored bg but personally wouldn’t consider changing from LE.
The LE package all around with the red rails is fantastic.
