Why does Stern make these custom rods so short? They stuffed up the turtles one as well. Idiots. You think you would make the rod the same length as stock. Why do I keep buying their custom rods, only to get shafted? You think I would learn.

Anyone ever packed something behind the rubber to get more length? Or do I move the forks of the auto launcher back a bit to bring the ball closer to the tip.
Thanks for posting this, it backs up what I suspected. I recently purchased a very nice EHoH Premium complete with quite a few mods, including the clown shooter, only to be frustrated with it from the very 1st game. Looking it over I came to the same conclusion, the rod is simply too short. Crazy to think this should even be offered for sale, it might look good and suit the theme, but complete useless in a practical sense. I've ordered a standard shooter rod and spring, and will compare the two when it arrives.
