New to this thread. On course to purchase a new EHoH Premium; aside from cosmetics, shaker, and speakers, is there any difference in game play between the Premium model and the other two models?

Just joined the Club. Great game. My pin was born June 9, 2020 so it already has the 0.96 code. Is there any place I can find the game rules, if not for the current code, at least for the previous? I have been trying to figure out how to light up the extra ball

#3688 3 years ago
Quoted from Mudflaps:

Extra ball is lit by defeating 2 deadheads or completing 2 haunts.

Thank you

Just purchased my NIB EHOH Premium 5 days ago. It has very few plays , but I just noticed chipping in the shooter lane where the ball is loaded. It appears that the lacquer was weak and the loading of the ball has chipped away an area. It has not affected game play, but rather the aesthetic aspect of the pin. Anybody knows of a home fix for this? I already notified Stern.

Quoted from Mudflaps:

This happens to everyone.
Turn down the eject strength, lay down Mylar and install Cliffys. Problem solved.
You’ll pull your hair out for weeks with Stern, and eventually they may ship you some sandpaper and liquid clear. Not worth the effort.

Thank you for your response. I went to the Cliffy web site, but could not find a protector for my problem. Could you point me in the right direction?

Thanks to everyone

I just wanted to thank the Forum for the instructions on adjusting the VUK. I did what has been published through the Forum based on Stern's instructions and my VUK fires 100% on target.

Thank you all.

Question on the Stern side armor for EHOH, the one with the spider web. Are these powder coated?

#3904 3 years ago

I encourage all of you that have submitted ratings for this pin to consider re-evaluating your rating in view of the code development which continues to get better and better all the time. IMHO this pin should be rated higher than currently is.

Just installed the plastic shooter protector from Mezel mods and it is great! It is inexpensive, easy to install (less than a minute), and protects the shooter lane. As I mentioned in a previous entry my pin had a chipped area in the shooter lane. My concern, of course was that with time the chipped area would grow and become unsightly. The plastic shooter protector not only covered the chipped area thereby eliminating the possibility of further damage, but also allows for the ball to flow freely into the game. Before the installation the ball would many times jump when it hit the metal ramp in the shooter lane. I recommend to anyone having a chipped shooter lane to install this protector.

Quoted from cantbfrank:

I have a few issues on my Premium. The first is the shooter lane. It does make it clean out of the shooter lane into the right orbit. I think the problem is the ball hits the metal shooter lane guides causing the ball to go airborne. I took some slo-mo video and you can clearly see the ball going air born in be the shooter lane.
Anyone else have this issue and know a solution?
Here is a video of the ball going airborne in the shooter lane...

The plastic shooter lane protector sold by Mezelmods is exceptional. It will resolve the problem you are talking about as well as protect the wood which sometimes chips easily. It is inexpensive and very easy to install -- about 20 seconds!

My $99.00 topper for EHOH. I'll attach a video later if I figure out how to attach a video.

The photo is too dark, the actual colors are much brighter and I have it at 7 fading colors.

Does anyone have an extra EHoH Stern banner they are willing to sell? I would like to buy one. PM me. Thx.

Check with Little Shop of Games. They have lots of banners for many pinball machines. https://littleshopofgames.com/

Doers anyone knows where I can buy the decal that goes on the scoop for the crypt? Mine got caught in the crypt when moving and it bend so badly that I had to remove it. It is not just a paper decal, but rather light aluminum composition.

Quoted from simpswho:

Mine came loose ,I contacted stern. they wanted a pic of and sent me a replacement

Thanks, I'll try Stern.

It's not a standard node board like 8, or 9. I think this is a long hard road.

This is the one I made. All total about $110.00

Question: I just upgraded the code to V 1.05. It is my understanding that among other things, this code update makes EHOH WiFi capable. I order to make it Wi-Fi would I'd have to buy a dongle to insert in one of the two USB ports on the main board, or do I still have to install a Stern Insider Connect?

#12006 1 year ago
Quoted from PinMonk:

Insider Connected kit comes with the WiFi dongle. Are you asking if you can just get a wifi dongle alone without installing Insider Connected so you can update wirelessly?

I have Godzilla which came with IC. I was told that I can share that IC if I get EHOH with the latest code and a dongle to get the Wifi capability. In this case all I have to do, I think, is go to Godzilla scan my code for IC and allow in the network menu for Godzilla to share. Does that make sense.

Quoted from Rdoyle1978:

As far as I know, wifi is independent of the Insider Connect board. Actually I'm going to go test that right now...
Someone had a thread where they were able to share a single insider connect and still get their games online - I need to dig that up.
