Speaking of “rife with unreleased content”…a Munsters DLC that included 30 new modes based upon the original episodes would actually make me want that game. The theme, art and layout are awesome - but man it needs some serious code love.

Is it SUPPOSED to be open? No
Is that what Stern considers normal? Yes
Can it be fixed? Yes, but only with a lot of work and a bit of luck. (I didn’t bother)

It was a certain run and those that followed afterwards, and yes it kinda sucks, and no you won't really notice when playing, and also no it's not worth the huge PITA to fix it

The only way it could properly be fixed is with a new opto board that re-positions the middle position opto.

I've never even considered trying to fix mine. It honestly doesn't bother me in the slightest. The crypt looks just fine as is. Its just to be expected when you have a game with so much mechanical action in it like Elvira.

Didn't see this one coming. Wonder if they will have one at expo to check out.
If they made that shooter rod as an acessory that anyone could buy, they would sell a ton of them.
It says it comes with insider connected installed so I was hoping we'd finally see how the new apron art looks. But if you zoom in on the flyer pic it still shows the old apron style.
I presume the pics are just mock-ups because there is no QR reader on the right side. 
So - do any LE or SLE owners think this new edition devalues their game?

SE owners yes but LE owners are looking good if the asking price is north of 15k.

Looking back, it makes the Batman66 LE with topper, batwing armor, and shaker at 10K quite a bargain.

No more haunts...! Polish what is already in the game. Fix the font issues, make house multiballs more fun and more beast booster.

In the past Stern has saved completed code updates for when a new run of a game was announced to help drive sales. Maybe we'll get something with this along with the Insider Connected update.

How about Stern make the Premium I ordered back in April.

The red on the LE/SLE looks better and is more appropriate - ie "blood". I think the purple side rails clash with the red side art. Shooter is nice though.

As an LE owner, that was my immediate reaction. But if the LE40 games are really in the $15k-$25k range I don’t see it hurting LE value.
I would like to see what the new hyper-chrome side art looks like, but the changes to the art don’t wow me. I don’t mind the 40th anniversary logo; not sure if it should be on the translite or the backbox sides but not both (and there should be more new art).
Love the new shooter rod, but the new “extras” don’t impress me at all. The autographed book is still readily available so you are paying a lot for an autographed trading card and her signature on the COA. And while my initial impression of the the paranormal purple is favorable, I think the LE red fits the game better.
199 units seems high, but given 50 SLEs sold at 15k+, I still don’t see that devaluing 400 LEs. I think this would be welcome by all current Elvira owners.
