Yep!

Quoted from mpdpvdpin:

For anyone looking to join the club...there’s finally one for sale!

Thanks for posting, this is the one I grabbed. And he is a Pinsider.

Quoted from Hayfarmer:

There's a 1.01 code now

Downloaded earlier today, still need to install that one, but did not notice in the notes. But looks like some other nice changes.

Quoted from Butterflygirl24:

Yes, some folks were complaining. So the "bad" words were taken out...Hopefully in the future they will be put back in or at least have an adult mode that you can turn on if you so desire!
Phoebe

Saw the note about the filter for .91 and figured .99 had that all resolved, since there was a mention of the filter being added at some point in the future. And when I heard the bad words in .99 figured it was there

Still a terrific game, without the bad words. But the first time Sgt Jar Head came out with his line. LOL. And the more mild words (really Sgt Jarhead had the only really bad one) were funny. I have not heard some of the double entendres I caught earlier. I think I have played enough for them to have showed up at least once since I updated, but there is such a great library of call-outs it seems there is at least one thing new each time I play. I have about 250 games on it so far. Only heard the Hendrix line once.

Quoted from Rob_G:

Moves in full motion, but are all 3 switches being activated both open and closed? If it's getting confused where it's at, then I suspect the top or bottom switch states are not changing during operation. If so, you will have to adjust the position of the motor that drives the scoop up/down. Just loosen one of the 1/4 nuts and move it slightly. Test with the playfield down, not upright. Also make sure the slot in the scoop lines up with the motor bracket when in the lowest position.
Rob

Thank you for the help. I just tested it and all 3 optos are opening and closing correctly but I’m an idiot and was testing it with the playfield up and not in the down position. I’m going to retest it tomorrow with the playfield down. I’m assuming I’m going to have to adjust the motor. Where are the 1/4 nuts I need to loosen? I assume under the playfield by the motor

"Let me stand next to your fire." I really smiled at that one.

The Sgt Jarhead F-Bomb is just F now - three letters short... in the line about a ball. (Don't want to spoil it for those who do not know the line. It is a funny one.)

#5911 3 years ago

I've never heard the Jimi reference or noticed before. Love his music ,so will be listening for it. Wouldnt a hendrix pin be great? I would be a buyer for sure!

What's this?! .. It's certainly NOT junk which was in my trunk last night!! I'm now in the Elvira House of Horrors club!! First very happy to announce that last night I got a NIB Elvira House of Horrors LE along with an official Stern EHOH Topper locally. Today I played my EHOH LE for the first time which happens to be on Friday the 13th! This is such an incredible game & I love it! Truly hats off to all that were involved in making this masterpiece!!

Congrats on getting the game! Please tell me it was not in your vehicle upside down, though. If it was, I'm glad it was okay.

Thanks! She was in properly made sure of that prior to loading it in, So much so that before taking it off the pallet went to take a peak inside Elvira's box lol to make sure it left the factory the correct way before I even loaded it into my vehicle. Right before moving it in the house decided to take a last minute photo but was too lazy to spin her around

#5915 3 years ago

Nope, it was real...sold in about an hour

Yes, it was totally real and a terrific score! My friends bought the seller’s 5 pins for a deal that would make your head spin.

So what was the story behind it? Could have easily sold for a lot more than that, and would not have taken long to do so.

Guy drives a Lambo SUV as a DD... I'm guessing he just wanted it gone, fast?

Do any of you feel as cool as I do when I hit right flipper- drop target - straight back to right flipper - back straight to lock.
Why is that so cool to me? Gosh I love this game. LONGEST I've ever kept a pin.

When I try that, usually the ball rockets back from the drop target STRAIGHT DOWN THE MIDDLE!!!

I like doing this also...and it does feel cool.

I have a possible code bug here, I'm on the latest.

Was in grappa angry round 1 and got a sneaky lock. It awarded me round 1 and moved to round 2 which I think was both ramps lit. It did not feed another ball so I waited for the ball search which eventually shot the ball out of the trunk lock and drained before making any more progress. Yay me. After that I did not get pool party, only end of ball.

I had a similar experience happen this weekend during Gappa Angry.

Thanks for your help. I was able to figure it out with your help. The next question I have is when my door is closed, there's a small gap and I've noticed this on a few machines (is this normal)? If not how does this adjust? At least everything is working great now

Quoted from PinBallLuck:

Per the code updates, v 91 had this:
- Removed vulgar swearing from the deadhead speech. These will be added
back in the next release with a setting to disable/bleep them out.
On .99 (I got the machine with .99 installed) I had many bad words when playing. I found them funny, had a few balls drain when I heard them the first time and started laughing (this machine overall is just so entertaining with the call-outs, and I have barely scratched the surface of the rules). After the upgrade to 1.00 there seemed to be less of the bad words. The Sgt Jarhead for sure had one of his phrases toned down a bit.

So still on 1.0 and Sgt Jarhead had the full word on my recent play. So there seems to be the not full word and fill word version of the bomb word

#5939 3 years ago

Normal

Is there a Family friendly setting? I haven't looked

#5941 3 years ago

The door gap really bothers me. Not as much because of the gap but because if it was aligned correctly the skull would come out a little but farther. No way to adjust it that I could see (from the outside, did not disassemble mech).

The gap is normal and cannot be adjusted.

I'll echo rob on the gap. That's just how it is. I think the gap is clearly visible on some of Stern's official videos too. And you're actually lucky, as I've seen Elvira's with a much bigger crypt gap than that. I was a little worried about the gap on mine, and then I saw that it was better than a lot of people's, and you really don't see it from the player position. So then I stopped worrying about it.

#5945 3 years ago

I used a green piece of gel film like we use in inserts,I think it looks better than that dam gap.just needs to be cut straight to look correct

I turned the flipper power down on my Elvira to 225. Unless you have a high pitch level, this power setting feels pretty good.

While shopping for something online for my pinside secret santa recipient, I noticed that pinballpro says they have one Elvira topper left in stock for a bit of a markup.

I’m not having a problem with that...he’s suspended a bit so I can see under his feet.
