I *love* DJ mode! When I heard about this I thought “who would want to do this?” Well, me. What an awesome option for a game room.

Lyman, if you read this - I would love to see an option to have the game power up in DJ mode rather than attract mode (maybe only if game on Free Play?), the ability to set a custom message in place of “DJ Mixer!!!!!!!!” and a way to fix or change the DJ background animation.

I have the scoop positioning working, but there's yet another problem with it now. When a ball hits the skull with a good shot, the skull and entire scoop assembly bounces up a bit. It never did that before. I've put several hours into sorting this mech out already and have disassembled/reassembled it several times. For such a sloppy hinged scoop, the tolerances for everything else are pretty darn tight with very little room for discrepancy.

I have not noticed that on our game. There is a spring behind the skull to locate it when the mech is all the way down. The screw that holds this together can be screwed in an out of the skull to give a little adjustment. We screwed ours in a few turns on the advice of a friend (@extendo) of ours and have no issues.

Yes, mostly during some multiball starts. The shaker motor goes off at the same time to add to the effect if you have one. Not as loud as the scream in GB, but hoping this adjustment could be added. I personally love the topper and it really adds to the overall fun experience with the game.

Got to admit this game has grown on me. At first it was kinda Ok for me, but after the last few updates, especially the 1.0, it has gone from potential trade bait to a keeper. Actually so has BM66 for me. I am actually looking to buy a EHOH topper if I can find one to get the total picture. Amazing how much is packed into this game!

It sounds like it being limited to only 200 might not be true. So Stern may make make more if enough people show interest.

The initial allotment (don’t know the number) is sold out from Stern. I wonder if this is why we haven’t seen the topper show up on the shop page. No dealer I’ve talked to has said that Stern told them the toppers were limited (but everyone I talked to only got a few) and there is no LE plate or anything on the topper so don’t see why they wouldn’t make more if demand is there. Still not a big fan of the $1k topper precedent but I hope everyone that wants one can get one.

The rumored limit didn’t significantly influence my decision to buy the topper. I didn’t buy the topper to resell it.

If it is/was supposed to be limited then there should be some indication of that on the topper itself. If not, Stern should make enough so anyone who is nuts enough to pay $1k for a topper and wants one can get one.

Hello all, since installing latest code when ball is to be ejected from house my game fires several times before exiting. has anyone else had this issue or know if this is a problem that needs to be addresed mechanicaly . thanks for any ideas .

Hey I just got my topper in and installed it. when I turn the game on the lights turn on I get the red eyes and a green LED on the gargoyles and nothing else happens. when I go to Diagnostics to make it open or close nothing happens. Any suggestions to get it to work would be awesome. Thanks

When the coin door is open you need pull out the interlock to allow 48V to be online. The opening and closing of the topper needs the 48V line active to operate the coil in it.

If I’m seeing it correctly it looks like the ball is trapping up under the plexi that the tree is mounted too. Try raising that plexi mount a little bit, use one or two of the tiny post rubbers under the plexi to raise it.
