Does Elvira sign stuff like this as Elvira, or Cassandra? Or both?
Sharp looking game!

Quoted from kidchrisso:Just heard from two distros...25k and 28,999.
Go with the 25K. Seems like a better deal!
Quoted from bmegar:This is becoming a rich person’s hobby. The Uber wealthiest are driving up the price of these pins to a point that the average joe like myself can no longer afford to stay in the LE market anymore
The "average joe" shouldn't be in the market for LEs. That's kind of the whole point.
What's wrong with a pro? Or a $900 EM?
This hobby generally seems lacking in perspective.
Quoted from snakesnsparklers:I don't think an average Joe could afford a Pro let alone an LE. Average Joe can probably swing a sub-$1k used EM game, MAYBE.
Average Joe needs to get a new hobby. Everybody I know in pinball wealthy!
Quoted from RandomGuyOffCL:I’m just curious what y’all consider “wealthy”
1-2m
2-5m
5-10m
10+
?
My pillow guy is wealthy.
Everybody else just scrubs and a general drain on society.
Quoted from explosiveegg:Stern seems to care more about the bottom line over customer satisfaction.
It's funny to me that people say this.
Seems to me Stern customers tend to be extremely satisfied. They keep buying Stern pinball machines and seem to be happy when they do. The 199 people who bought this 40th edition game are likely very satisfied. Or else why did they buy it?!
Quoted from Pinball-NJA:Has anyone heard an actual price out of stern?
Or are all these just speculation?
American distro can charge what they want, I heard some other countries need to follow msrp.
Stern suggests “calling”
Can anyone confirm price out the factory??
I don't see why people would lie, they've called their distributors and reported back...there doesn't seem to be a "price out of the factory" or Stern would have listed it. This is in the Beatles LE model of "get what you can."
Quoted from docquest:That's what I'm thinking, I'm guessing g you'll be able to get one of these for a while. 199 is a lot more than the 80 BatmanSLE's or the 50 Elvira Signature games and almost 2x the cost. Weren't those avail for a while after announcing?
The amount of people looking for games back then is dwarfed by the amount of people buying games now. And, the supply of built, available in stock games appears to be much smaller, along with all other consumer products.
Like most things pinball and a few years ago it’s tough to draw an accurate comparison. Stern is even cranking out brand new Beatles games on their line as we speak- remember, that other game that nobody wanted and would be easily available?
Quoted from ultimategameroom:Levi it won’t be long before your HUO original MB at 20k is considered a bargain!
For what it’s worth your asking price was in my opinion fair due to its age/condition.
It was fair, as it's sold.
I'm still not sure why expensive pinball machines make people so angry. You can tell some people are about to explode with rage when an expensive game - whether new, or in the used market - pops up. Sincere, pure, purple rage. People get downright ugly and nasty with hatred and spite.
Relax folks. Pinball is supposed to be fun!
To that point, check out the video footage that's popping up on FB of the new Elvira 40th on the show floor in Chicago. It just looks amazing!
