To clarify, Elvira's Movie Macabre had it's 1st broadcast with Elvira as host on September 26, 1981. That would indicate that her 40th Anniversary would 'end' on September 26th 2022 (and NOT at the start of the New Year). Facts not feelings.
What a great machine! Mine was delivered on New Year's Eve and I've been playing it on and off till this morning. A couple of minor issues (hidden stuck ball) which cleared itself. I'll be installing the dual mini-screens from Docquest and the Reader relocation kit from Gotfrogs as soon as they come in. Oh, almost forgot. Both flippers were kinda stickish at the max point but have seemed to loosen up on their own after a couple of hours. All-in-all a GREAT purchase experience from Stern, Hemispheres Amusements and Chicago Pinball Movers. Cheers!!!!
Just finished a couple of mods and waiting for the power splitter to have both the apron mini-screens and speaker lights on at the same time. Also completed the Stern Insider Connect after moving the reader to the coin door. Works great. I noticed that the 40th is referenced as an LE on Insider. I'll post a pic with post-mods in the near future.
Maybe a poll of serial numbers and which ones show the issue.
#148 here: left rail has noticeably less sparkle than the right rail.

Hi Doug... yes, the purple plastic speaker housing ring is transparent and allows light to shine through. Works great on my Elvira 40th.
