My friend has an Elvira LE that is having some issues. It is already on the newest code
First off the crypt, once activated it starts moving and never really stops. The nut to hold it tight came loose but hell if I can get it tightened in the right place that it doesn't bind up. In test it doesn't activate the switch at the up position, even if I hold the motor. Hoping someone can explain how this thing is supposed to be secured, maybe even share a picture.

Second when hitting the right flipper button the lights on the game change, it happens in attract mode as well. First press lights up all inserts, second all gi, third all flashers, fourth returns to normal operation and then it repeats. Each stage of this light show is stacked so when the inserts, gi and flashers are all lit up it is blinding. Regardless this is not how the game is supposed to function. Anyone have any ideas here? Time to contact the distributor?

The second issue sounds like someone went into the menu and turned on the "Photo Shoot" option.

For the crypt binding issue, I suggest calling Stern tech support.

1st issue probably similar to: post #3766 in https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/elvira-3-the-official-thread/page/76#post-5279737

and agree with T7, sounds like someone turned "Photo Shoot" to ON in adjustments. In code .85 it was defaulted to be OFF. and should be OFF

Ran into a similar issue today but the fix was not the motor bracket but the topside plastic, zip tie locked it down and avoided jam ups.
