I just got my new ramps from James the other day and I'm going to attempt to install them. At the same time, I'm thinking of removing a good amount of the playfield to give her a much needed cleaning. But I've never done this before to any machine. Does anyone have any pictures/notes of when they stripped their EATPM? I'm terrified that I'll miss something or not put something back where it belongs. Or if anyone has any tips/tricks I'd welcome that, too. My main concern is how to remove the Monster Slide ramp. I forget what I was doing, but once upon a time I was trying to repair something and I thought "I'll take this ramp off to make it easier" but I couldn't figure out how to get to the backside where the two pieces of the Monster Slide connect behind the playfield. So, yeah, can any of you nice people help an ignorant owner out?

Also, I'm going to try and get one of the new playfields when those come out. Do you think it would be more practical to wait to do this until I get my hands on that? I'm not sure what the timeline is on when those new playfields are expected to appear, though. Does anyone have more info?

Thanks, guys! This is normally something I enjoy, I just don't want to break anything . I'll just have to do what I did in college; take, then ignore, copious notes.

Does anyone have interest in some used ramps? I replaced mine with the reproductions that came out a few years back. Both ramp entrances are cracked, but they still work great if you have the Cliffy's. The exit of the party punch ramp into the VUK is also broken, but it's hidden and stays in place pretty well. The long, winding return section of the monster slide is still in good shape. In short, if you have ramps that are completely screwed then these can help.

Quoted from Wakky:

Looks great... where do you get new ramps from ? Cant find them anywhere?

Pinball Inc. did a run of reproductions almost two years ago. I'm not sure why, but Pinball Inc. is no longer a stand-alone store. Their ramps are now available from Starship Fantasy, but they don't have any EATPM's anymore. Sorry, and good luck!

Quoted from gdogfunk:

but they are out and said it will be several months before they may be ready.

I bet they're ready right around the time the CPR playfield starts shipping...

Yeesh! That's $100 more than what they cost when Pinball Inc had them.

Has anyone put cabinet decals on their EATPM? Where did you get them and are they of good quality?

Hey fellow EATPM fans! I'm sorry to say that I need to make room (and get money) for a NIB purchase I'd like to make. Would you mind taking a look at my Price Check post and weighing in?

Does anyone know the email address CPR contacts you from? I want to make sure it doesn't go to my spam folder for some reason. I've been waiting for this since the list opened in 2014!!

Started my swap yesterday! I have a long road ahead of me, and I ran out of wire tie labels....

I need a picture of this relay wiring. Trying to iron out some issues on this game.

The yellow wire coming from the backbox should be at position 2 and the purple wire coming from the backbox should be at position 4.

Looks really good. Nice job!
Did you run into any issues with the cpr playfield?

Only issue with the playfield itself has been covered on this thread already, I think. The pilot holes for the metal barrier behind the JAM targets were wrong. All I did was use the one that's at 6 o'clock on the left GI bulb hole, and then drilled a new one at about 4 o'clock to the right GI bulb hole.

Other than that, the playfield was excellent. Any other issues I had were my own damn fault (forgetting where things went, losing pieces, breaking posts, etc.).

Quoted from Gornkleschnitzer:

Anybody know where I can find the light shield to the left of the bumpers (that the ball jumps over)? I would even take a broken one as mine is entirely missing.

If you're talking about the blob plastic, hit me up. I have a perfectly good one that got replaced when I put a whole new plastic set in.

Quoted from lostlumberjacks:

Anyone reproduce this decal. Backside of playfield.

I bought mine from here:

But they don't ship to the US. So I had to use an intermediary service. It ended up costing me about $40-$45 for the decal + shipping.
