Quoted from AlexSMendes:Does anyone know where can I find those yellow decals for the ramps?
installednosigns.jpg (Click image to enlarge)
I'm in the market to buy those 2 ramps.... Anyone?
Quoted from Bohdi:Left is worse on mine
I got a friend that used to put rubbers on the outside lane guides!!!!
Quoted from Blackbeard:Guys, entering the club. Found a EATPM last night and it's still in the Jeep. She's being brought in tonight.. Beautiful example I found.
Can someone give me some info on ROM revisions and what's the latest one to use?
Thanks
You can check it at ipdb.org
Quoted from Blackbeard:Why didn't you check it for me and post the info here so I can be lazy?
haha
Thanks, it didn't occur to me to do that actually.
Yeah, I even thought about that, but I was too lazy to do it....
You know what? I'll let you share the info with everyone here!!! LOL
Quoted from Blackbeard:Rev 2 oh well. In the club

Beautiful! Welcome and unpleasant dreams!
Quoted from t2:I had this game for 12 years and never broke 10,000,000 and played it more than any game I have owned. Impressive with the 27,000,000!!!
It's easy with the glass out!!!!! :p Not that I'm saying that RipleYYY did it... LOL.... but I agree.... SuperPin!!!!!
Quoted from RipleYYY:ok, done in that tech space
and dont envy my scores, we're all with diff skills, the most important is having fun while playing
Hey man, don't worry.... he all have our set of skills and always try to get the better out of it.... I for myself, in order to get high scores, take the glass out and install rubber rings at the outside lanes.... the secrect is that not only the ball can score, but also the tips of your fingers.... try using all ten (both hands), to make it more challenging!

"WE all have our set of skills..."
Quoted from RipleYYY:may be you could ask Robin to add some new "hi score topics" than
those made with the glass off, those made with rubbers on outlanes, but also those made with the glass off AND rubbers on outlanes
Dude, I'm just messing around... no hard feelings... we're all for the fun of the hobby, right?
Anyways... 3 Balls and Hard settings.... WOW!!! Congrats man, I really have a lot to practice!
Quoted from RobertWinter:I just posted this on the Girls of Pinball thread but thought it deserved a post here as well. I snapped this picture when I bought Cassandra's HUO EATPM.

Nice.... as for any original machine the cabinet colors are faded.... did you let it this way or did you replace the decals?
Quoted from paulywalnuts23:Pretty sure these would replace the ones you have..
http://www.marcospecialties.com/pinball-parts/RC1195
Thanks man.... I actually looked for them at Marco's, but as noticed, couldn't find anything under EatPM.
Quoted from pinballtoys:hi all
here's a photo of our one which we've only had for about a year but compliments the Scared Stiff and TFTC. I'd be interested in buying a shooter if shipping to UK possible.
BobEATPM (4).jpg (Click image to enlarge)
Would you be interested in a nice but used eyeball shooter?
Green displays are very, very nice indeed.... I ain't got them on my EatPM, but on my Catacomb! Definitely stands out!
Quoted from Sethman:Took a bunch of pics but every time they come out looking more aqua than green in the photos. So unfortunately I can't get a good representation to show you.
They are very much green and look great though!
Post them anyway!
Hey has anyone found anywhere that has a replacement for the three holographic ghosts that are up in the upper right corner? mine are pretty faded and I haven't seen them ever pop up
Hey, I am looking for the ramp decals and the "Monsters Slide" decal on the backboard..... can anyone please help me?
Quoted from belairjoe:...not sure how we will do yet but we will have an original Elvira party monsters topper you can win!
Just make sure that fellow pinsiders who live below the equator line get also a chance to win this awesome topper!
Quoted from belairjoe:hey thanks! we are lucky we know....we use this arcade for many things..painting,modeling,...ho trains..car restoration...and my grandkids have coloring books and board games stored under booth seats..this great place for pizza party when the cold sets in..i show photo of hot nut machine I restore and flame stencil as gift for my brother..these are the kind of arcade/paint projects we do for fun and to learn to do new things...thanks again for the nice comments on our place.-joeDSC00626.JPG DSC00699.JPG DSC00491.JPG DSC00487.JPG
Really nice... You should post these pics on the "Let's see your game-room" thread!
Quoted from belairjoe:yes your right... I went over-board with photo's on Elvira thread ...I will post mostly photo's of eatpm and dennis at party time on this thread .I like to show flames anytime I can
Hey man, sorry if I didn't make myself clear.... I'm not saying that you can't post pics here, but that you shall also post'em at the game-room thread.... people will enjoy that awesome space you have!
Quoted from paulywalnuts23:Got a set from Starship last year. Had to email them as they didn't have them listed as available on there website.
Shoot them an email.
Paul
Hey, nice to know..... thanks for sharing the info!
Quoted from paulywalnuts23:Not a problem.
Yeah, I don't know what happened but, after replying to my first e-mail, I never heard from Larry (Starship-Fantasy) again. Sent him 3 e-mails after that and got no response after all....
Well, it depends on what pin-groom means with low res voice.... For instance, if you compare Elvira's voice at Scared Stiff with EatPM, it sure has a HUGE quality difference!
Quoted from Mudflaps:I called Larry... He has the ramps in stock, just not on the website. I paid and am patiently waiting for my new, shiny ramps.
Well, I just wish he replies me so I can be as happy as you!
Quoted from Mudflaps:Also, make sure you email him directly vs. the contact form. That email doesn't work.
That's what I did...,
Quoted from Mudflaps:Topper added along with new ramps and Flipper Fidelity backbox speakers.
Green XPin displays next.

Didn't like the topper, sorry.
Wow.... and now looking closer I find it uglier.... Sorry buddy, but I agree with some of the comments of the other thread.... It would look much nicer on a bar, but not as an EatPM topper!
Quoted from Mudflaps:Laseriffic topper for sale. $100 shipped, normally $165 plus shipping.
https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/eatpm-or-ss-topper
If they'd give me 165 bucks I'd still not replace mine
Quoted from belairjoe:wow! who left that gift under your tree? you might want to leave this tree up all year! merry x-mass and thanks
Lovely, isn't she?
Quoted from AlexSMendes:Does anyone knows where can i find a SERVICE SWITCH 3 BANK PUSHBUTTON? Guess I tried all the major sites but got no luck at all....

No one????
My EatPM has a mark below between the flipper bats as if there should be a mini-post to save the ball when it comes straight down in the middle.... Please, can someone enlighten me if it was supposed to be a post there? Happy 2016 and thanks in advance!!!!
Quoted from RipleYYY:well, we already spoke about that, but without being sure if some pins were "originally" equiped with
mine got it, was installed when i bought it, and of course the 2 steel rails under flippers were off...
Can you post a pic to see how it looks like?
Quoted from RipleYYY:old pics...

when i have to open the pin, will do some more about that particular area
Hey, thanks man! Yours EatPM is gorgeous, congrats!
So, as my EatPM PF has this particular spot/hole, I'm giving a serious thought about installing this post on mine.... Anyone else, any thoughts!
So, I tested and, in order to place a mini-post, I would have to take off those "anti-bounce bars" that are placed under the flipper bats.... Now I'm just more afraid to damage the playfield by doing that than by installing the mini-post....
Quoted from Bohdi:Why is that? You talking about the "guides" just below the flippers in the picture?
Yeah, that is it... Guides.... The word just escaped me before....
Since I got this hole on my PF, I'm so very inclined to add the mini-post and get rid of the guides..... Guess if the restorer had somehow hidden it, I would never get this idea, but now the hole is there.... fuckin starin at me! Besides, none of my machines have this "save-a-ball" post, and I loved to play pins with this feature on the arcades!!!
Quoted from JeffZee:I wanted a base for my CPR topper and I wanted to provide some back lighting. I started with a pine board and added two small cleats to mount the topper. From Home Depot I found a small 12" LED tube light intended for under kitchen cabinet lighting. The light is mounted slightly off center toward Elvira's head because I was trying to get a little more light toward the flesh tone areas and a little less light toward the transparent areas. Once I was happy with the arrangement I painted the board black to blend with the game cabinet. The light has high and low settings. I like low.

Beautiful!
Quoted from JeffZee:Thanks Bohdi. I used the image as a template to redraw the bubble. It's far from an exact match. But without a side by side comparison it looks fine.

Quoted from tiltmonster:Looks nice, thanks for the link!
I haven't had time to install my new ramps but I agree the decals were tough to apply and didn't fit correctly;
Where did you find the ramp decals for sale?
Quoted from tiltmonster:Ah, that's too bad. I assume you're thought of this or have already tried but maybe you could post a wanted add here to see if anyone has some for sale.
Well, I want some decals too! For all ramps and maybe the backboard and the deadheads! If someone can help, I've got some money here to put in good use!
After seeing a litle bit of this video, I came to realize that I still have some sounds issue with my EatPM.... I definitely never heard Elvira saying "Oh yeah" when doing the Monster Slide and some pieces and bits of the music are also missing....
Quoted from kyle5574:"Oh yeah!" is triggered by the ramp entry switch when you do multiple ramps in a row while the cyclops' eye is lit. "Oh no!" is triggered by the same switch if you don't quite make it up the ramp and roll back down through the switch. The same switch also triggers the flash bulb below the ramp. My switch is a bit flakey. You might make sure the switch is working before diagnosing sound problems.
Thanks.... after seeing the video again I was wondering the same... Will definitely take a look at it!
Quoted from ClarkKent:Does anybody have scans or at least good highres photos of the ramp decals? Please help! Thanx!
I'm in for scans.... Please!
Quoted from Dynadan:Brand new to the club. Belly glass from an Elvira Slot machine turned into a topper. Now I just got to figure out the best way to attach it.
If you send it to me I'll find a perfect solution!
Quoted from ClarkKent:Highes photos from the ramp decals from straight above would also be enough to create new decals. Anyone willing to take some?
(Just to show what can be done with good photos - enclosed a sample of a RS ramp decal I've done from a photo. Removed the sticker from the paper as the printed art is on the sticky side, photographed it and reattached it to the paper - no harm done)
Hey, I'll try to take some pics over the weekend.... But my decals are not in great shape.... Will you be able to photoshop'em?
Quoted from ClarkKent:YES! If you can make the photos that way that nothing is cut off, without any mirrorings and without flash lights this should be possible. Maybe clean the ramp above the decals to have the best possible pictures. Best would be to photograph parts and not the whole ramp at once - the pics are sharper and better to work with. And make several pics and send the sharpest ones. Can you upload to dropbox or mega?
I need the decals for all three ramps (the two yellow ones and the monster slide).
PM'ed you!
Did anyone manage to buy this kit: http://www.marcospecialties.com/pinball-parts/31-1515-2011-X ?

Quoted from tiltmonster:Right, sorry, that's what I meant and I was wondering why it would be bowed in the center; is it because the ramp is being pinched by the sleeve posts causing it to rise up in the center? Or it's not laying flat because the screws are too short and it didn't pull the flap flat enough to the PF? Or are the holes in the ramp drilled incorrectly and they are too close together causing the flap to push inward? If the ramp were laying flat on the PF then I would be wondering if it was due to the thicker "material". Sorry, I'm only trying to think of what would cause this to happen...
This is the only pic I have of mine in that area, I can take more, but it appears to have a slight bump in the center too
Beautiful pic... What kind of lamps do u guys use behind the dead-heads?
Quoted from Jeffreyjonesbsme:I've been stalking Pinside for awhile now and am now starting to visit the threads.
Here's my EATPM.
It had a clear coated playfield when I bought it...but the cabinet was rough.
This was my first cabinet restoration. Last summer's project.
I'm happy with how it turned out.
What did you do with the topper?
Quoted from Dreggs88:Hey everyone, just joined the group! I had wanted one for a long time and absolutely love her!
Is there anyway to balance the game music and the speech call-outs? I think the call-out should be louder than the music but they are very loud on my machine.
Glad to be part of the club.
huh... I personally think it's very well balanced... if not, I'd like the callouts a bit louder even...
Quoted from spiroagnew:For the owners of both Scared Stiff and EATPM:
Is there enough in both games, besides the theme (!), that would warrant keeping both in a collection? I've got about 17 games in the gameroom and I'm looking to bring in Scared Stiff...I'm afraid Party Monsters is very similar layout wise.
I'd say EATPM is the more difficult of the two, and Scared Stiff the better looking and more feature-laden--is there an advantage to keeping both other than the cool factor of having both Elvira games displayed side by each?
Best pinball fun you can have... ever!
Quoted from erczilla:Has anyone had to remove the back box on the EATPM? I would like to in order to get it down to my basement. Is it difficult? Still love the machine, I just need to move it to a more convenient place.
You fold it!
Quoted from robertg130:His guys, someone have used ramps for this game
Thanks
I still could use some new decals for my ramps....
Quoted from djblouw:Now I just need to find a set of plastics. Anyone have one they'd part with?
I can help you guys - just shoot me a PM!
