I've also noticed the movie title "The Brain that Wouldn't Die" (A public domain movie). This suggests there will be a number of film clips from different movies integrated into the gameplay, as per Batman 66. I wonder if we'll see Night of the Living Dead (also in the public Domain).

Elvira should have a window in the corner where she is interacting with the player for the ENTIRE game. Laughing at stuff, joking when the player drains, in making funny comments, in general looking attractive and interested in what's going on.
