I think when people say Elvira is 'not spooky #3' - it just means it's not Spooky's 3rd in house game.. leaving the door open that it could be Spooky building the game on contract.

But classically... look at all the playfield variations we had in EMs for decades.... fan layouts aren’t the only thing you see. But when you try to make everything a shot from the flipper... you run into fan centric ideas..

The left ramp still flexes like crazy. It's the mechanical design as they worked around the turntable.

"Clunky" has nothing to do with player skill... It has to do with what the rebounds and returns are in the game and the lines of the shots.

Game is amazing and fun - but PF geometry is not it's strong point. And hopefully the upcoming code will nerf some of the minor villian impacts leading to multi-billion scores.

yeah but a higher end LE/Premium has a greater risk of higher depreciation rate than a pro. Higher price points compared to the norm.. and routed game for a game that was aimed at the picky collector.

Pros are more in the groove and have a nice 'floor' for resale these days. When even a beater 5yr old stern star wars can be sold for over 4k... and you were buying at ~5k... it's way less risky. A beat LE is gonna have a far greater drop before its floor is reached.

For some reason people still struggle with the idea that Stern is producing different product lines.. even after Stern repeatedly told everyone the strategy

I for one didn't have hate for the floating head animations. It's fitting for the subject matter imo.

If anyone every wanted a b horror movie title... here it is. The soundtrack alone should sell the game for people of that inkling.

The thing that stood out to me was the completion level of the game. This title feels significantly behind other recent releases. And while Lyman is fantastic - turnaround time has not been his strong point.

This is the kind of title stern needs to front load in building... and this kind of code state is going to make people take pause and wait and see. That's not good.

I still fail to see the value in the vuk that throws the ball... and where the hand of fate and crate targets are... you saw how little they completed them in the stream.
