Quoted from cait001:there's photos. I'd upload them but the format is not pinside supported and I'm too stoned to convert them all
Claims photos no one else has. Claims a mystery format.

Not really digging the very cartoony flat art style of Elvira on the backglass if it's a legit photo.
Quoted from Rob_G:Since all images of Elvira are cartoon, I am thinking the display is going to be cartoon based as well. Such a small representation of Elvira on the playfield as well, it's a bit disappointing.
Rob
Agree. The last 2 titles were fairly cartoony, but better. I was hoping the 3rd would change it up and go more realism. Do not like the backglass at all. I'm hanging on by a thread, but if the display is more cartoons, I think I'm out.
Quoted from RobertWinter:Elvira is only on the Scared Stiff playfield what, two times? And they're basically mirror image poses of each other. And she's nowhere on the SS cabinet.
Right. So now is the time to go all-in on kickass Elvira art. Huge missed opportunity for fan service. A huge well-done Elvira on the PF would be insta-buy for me.
My wallet breathed a sigh of relief tonight.
"The modes are linear for presentation purposes." More like "Code is unfinished and we're rushing for Halloween."
Day 1 patch is lit.
Quoted from T7:IMO they modified the code to have linear modes for the stream because they didn't want to reveal too much of the game. By doing this, we only saw 3 modes, which made it feel repetitive and lacking in variety
Isn’t the point of a reveal to sell the game? If they didn’t want to show too much, they can just play a bit and drain on purpose. My less naive opinion is the code is unfinished for selecting your haunt, and the game is shipping with (not many) linear haunts as shown in the reveal. I can almost guarantee they lost more potential buyers than gained with this reveal.
Quoted from CVeRiTy:Judge what we see today on Elvira's shots, playfield art, toys, cabinet art, etc. I.E., the things that can't change. Little things like software graphics and animation can be so easily changed, and could just be placeholders. No reason to get panties in a bunch over minor software stuff.
That’s all true, but #1 there is no guarantee they will be changed and #2 God only knows when. So bunched panties are warranted when fans of the previous two titles expected the same level of effort for 8 grand.
Quoted from kciaccio:What about the music?
Party Monsters really nailed the music. That’s the only thing i don’t like about SS. Now it’s another thing i don’t like about HOH. Bring back the fun music.
Quoted from Manic:Looks like one to watch out for at the barcade in any case. Might be a decent earner.
There are 100 pins, many of which a fraction of the cost, that would be better ROI for a barcade. A smart owner will avoid this one.
Quoted from T7:Dude - relax! Seems like you've gotten yourself all upset, because you want SS 2 and this isn't it - and you didn't like the limited info you got from the stream. IMO there is much more to the game that we haven't seen in the stream, and it's probably at a low code version at this point, but when it's done it will be great. I'm probably a much bigger fan of Elvira then you are, and the theme integration does fit her character perfectly. We'll just have to wait and see when it's done and people HAVE ACTUALLY SEEN AND PLAYED IT - LOL.
BTW: I am going to get one, and I have faith in the team: Dennis, Greg, Lyman, Tim and Cassandra!
Stern: Give us $8-15 grand.
Us: It doesn't look finished.
Fanboys: Wait and see! Stern are gods among men!
Stern:
Quoted from T7:Not saying anyone is a god (you should check out the GhostBusters update for that ), but how have Lymans recent games turned out...
- AC/DC, Tron, IM, MET, TWD, BM66
Many of his games weren't completely finished on launch ->> But how did they turn out, in your opinion?
Very much not the point. The point is, Stern is charging obscene amounts of money for a product that is not finished. We've seen this behavior in the video game industry for many years now and it's starting to piss people off. They shouldn't be allowed to get away with this shit.
Quoted from Rarehero:I don’t believe you’ve ever owned or played “almost every game” if you think Goatf*****s “feels” better than any game made in the history of pinball. The airballs, the lane hops, the rattley shots that go stdm, the saucer that kicks stdm, the right ramp that never makes the curve on the Prem, the stupid manga slings that drop the ball down the middle, the flipper gap from hell....no other game feels like that. Monster Bash feels perfect when played. And that ruleset? Can’t hold a candle to anything made from the 90’s-2014.
I own a GB Premium. It's my favorite pin and play several games per week. I experience none of the issues you describe, or rare instances of them (like any pin). I do have an airball protector at the bottom of the ramp. Give her a little nudge when you anticipate sdtm and you're good. The new code lets you set 5 max ball saves. Git gud.
