Quoted from CrazyLevi:That's horrible. Reads like a sick donkey bleating.
Elvira3 or E3 for you brevity types.
is much more pleasing to the eye.

Quoted from cooked71:No pops.
But there are gargoyles in inflattable swan and duck (?) tubes.
Quoted from luckymoey:But there are gargoyles in inflattable swan and duck (?) tubes.
Lol. I can live without pops in that case.
Those don't look like Nordman ramps to me, which is very disappointing. I'm trying to let the playfield art slide right now because they always look so much better in person.
It looks like the crate on the left ramp side has a lid that lifts up the lock balls. The gargoyles look like they’ll behave like the boogeymen
Neither the theme or price are for me but it’s an interesting layout. It looks like it will have endless flow. Wide open playfield with all long shots. No idea if it will work and be fun but at least it’s new. It might be too repetitive, catch and shoot, catch and shoot... Without pops and so wide open there doesn’t seem like a lot to create chaos.
Really vanilla layout. But we all know what Lyman can do with any layout. Hopefully they’re not going for the current shallow code trend. Unfortunately that would also be true to the Elvira Trilogy.
That's it? Not a typical Dennis n layout and cool ramps? . I'm sure it will shoot well and be fun (,especially with Lyman on code) but i dont see much there especially for the price point and how long its taken. Also im sure there's some neat toys /tricks we can't see but first glance is not super impressive.
Not impressed with the art or the way the game pops out to me. I am still excited to see the official reveal expla all the bells and whistles.
Surprised the playfield and art work are not more creative. Assumed Nordman and Freres had been working on the design for years. Seems like Stern is going to lean heavily on the animations, call-outs and rules.
It appears that there are targets behind the crypt an the balls feeds the VUK that shoots the ball across to hit the targets and open the crate on the left ramp
Quoted from Micky:[quoted image]
Boring fan layout. If I'm paying 8 grand I'd rather a SS. I'd rather a RZ plus a an EATPM.
Quoted from RobertWinter:I think the pops are behind the right ramp.
Not much room up there.
Quoted from TheGunnett:It appears that there are targets behind the crypt an the balls feeds the VUK that shoots the ball across to hit the targets and open the crate on the left ramp
Yeh, that left area above the drops also looks like it could do something to interrupt the plastic return. Doubt that Vuk on the right could shoot all the way over to hit this targets, but maybe. Here’s hoping the Playfield can stand up to it.
Quoted from SKWilson:Well. I may be alone, but I fucking love it and can't wait to get it!
This is a guaranteed buy for Elvira fans regardless. I’m not really so am just looking at it as another new release. I think they’ll still sell heaps.
Also, if that’s the LE with the red trim, that’s also really vanilla compared to B66LE. Just looks like a normal Stern LE, but we are hearing B66Le pricing. And 400 LE’s not 240 like B66? So more units, less bling but the same price as B66le. That might be a tough sell.
Even though people are thinking there will be no pro model this layout looks exactly like what a Stern Pro usually looks like. There has to be more on the other models or this just looks like a typical Stern ho hum layout.
Quoted from cooked71:Not much room up there.
At first was thinking the pops would be there too but really just looks like enough room for a couple lanes maybe?
For years this was going to be an instabuy for me.... Not sure after seeing the playfield … If no pro I'll probably be out...
Quoted from TheGunnett:The gargoyles look like they’ll behave like the boogeymen
I think you meant like the frogs/leapers from SS.
Quoted from Squeakman:Even though people are thinking there will be no pro model this layout looks exactly like what a Stern Pro usually looks like. There has to be more on the other models or this just looks like a typical Stern ho hum layout.
That’s clearly the LE playfield. We’ll have to wait a couple days for the details and better pics. I don’t like the cabinet art on the Premium (my wife said it reminds her of Cirqus Voltaire).
On the playfield my first reaction is the ramps are disappointing. Nothing iconic like the water slide or honey beast ramp. And the mansion better do some cool stuff if we are indeed looking at BM66 price points. The Batman turntable is a formidable multistage mechanism. Unclear if the mansion is more than a fancy sculpt. And it does look a little too wide open.
I’m expecting the code will be deep (because Lyman). But my biggest concern is whether these games will ship with the playfield clear problem fixed. I hear that Stern considers minor playfield pooling is acceptable and that is unacceptable to me. I still expect LE slots will sell quickly so I’m going to have make a tough call next week - is there enough here and is the playfield crapshoot worth the risk? I’d love to have the entire trilogy but a defective playfield would bother and upset me tremendously.
I think the LE pf looks pretty barren to be honest. Looks like a standard fan layout and more what I would expect in the PRO model.
Funniest thing out of all this is the Spooky Haunted House Party name for Danesi #2. Make you wonder which cam first?
Quoted from splitskull:LOL... Play-field shots look exactly like MM
That’s what I was thinking too.
what crate!? i don’t see one anywhere. i do see the drop target to the left of the staircase ramp but no crate behind left ramp. also i see a kick out on the left of the game behind the three targets. possible lock kick out/subway? maybe the deadhead opens and balls go through there to kick out? remember this is a photo someone took with there phone and put on pinside. not official press release photos and no official details
MJR
Since all images of Elvira are cartoon, I am thinking the display is going to be cartoon based as well. Such a small representation of Elvira on the playfield as well, it's a bit disappointing.

The crate is in the middle of the left ramp. You can see a cutout for where the lid will probably open.

Another boring, uninspired fan layout with a flashy title. I really, really wanted this one, but I just can't do another fan layout like this.
And for that reason, I'm out!
Quoted from MJR8peanut:also if you look really closely you can see a top gate diverter and the plastic and metal skirt of a pop bumpers behind right ramp
MJR[quoted image]
We can see the end of two pops, the one that you show, and an orange one, on the other side of the ramp. There must be a third behind the crypt.
Quoted from MJR8peanut:right VUK looks like it shoots across the playfield into the trunk
Been there, done that, got the T-shirt.
