I'm glad they let Cassandra Peterson be the first to make the official "in print" announcement. I've been following the blurbs on this release for years and it sounds like she's been enthusiastic about E3 being released, but there has been hold ups within Stern that didn't permit an earlier release. Likely a pin that will make it into my collection.

I had planned on getting an LE but without getting a chance to play it before. There is no way I can commit to a Stern LE
as I've been burnt before on the LE track.
I can only hope this game is great and it doesn't get screwed up somehow.

My understanding is it's Nordman, Freres and Lyman on the design team, and if those guys can't make a good game, welp, turn out the lights, pinball is over!
Plus love it or hate it Elvira has been a proven winner as a theme.

How does this work with Nordman and Freres and Whizbang pinball, are those guys actually employed by/designing games for Stern proper, or is this going to be a Whizbang release manufactured by Stern? And please tell me theres no chance of this being another reskin of Whoa Nelly!

Dennis has not been involved with EHOH since he went to DeepRoot.
Completely new design. NOT a reskin.
Right now there are two Stern's in action. The one that packs it in and builds munsters, black knight and any other cookie cutter and or barren boring title imaginable to make money.
THEN there is the Stern that mixes it up, gives us something different like iron maiden and Deadpool. Both I kind of slept on a little but I give them respect as both play well and are fresh.
I hope this game is made by the latter. Excited to see it.

Stupid comment. I'm not a Munsters fan but its fun to shoot and BK 3 is awesome.

Nordman was was contracted to and completed the design before he left for other companies.
Freres and Lyman of course work for Stern so no problem.
My understanding was for the license to be given Cassandra wanted Nordman and Freres on it.

The Cab & Translite it'd be okay either way for me.
But on the playfield I'd definately prefer ZY. Better sneak in some lively nonsense in the inbetweens all over the playfield instead of filling the empty spaces with some patterns...
That said it'd be totally fine for me to not completely cram the whole playfield with art/ assets and just use some plain colors in areas. 
In that regard the best Franchi Playfield is the one Kevon O'Connor composed, wich is BM66. It looks more classic pinball but with Franchis awesome art assets.
Really enjoy scared stiff and party monsters. Looking forward to this one. What needs to be in the machine ?
What makes an Elvira game an Elvira game ?
Good humor
Good sound package. Long plastic ramps with plenty of curves.
What else does it need to stay true to the theme.... I guess th boogeymen were in both games.
Why do I feel like this will be a stripped down game with lots of eye candy and massively dependent on code? Oh, that's because it seems like Stern's business plan for the past few years.
Will there be ANYTHING creative, or just lit shots, a magnet or two, bash toy, and fancy art? I really, really hope so because I want to buy one.

GOT & SW gave us a unique & creative scoring system. SW Fanbababies got some diaper rash because it didn't breast feed them but hey, the shit was new.
