I picked up the Elektra with the dual coin doors and while looking it over I found that it had an odd serial number X1248-1 on the cabinet and X0-0344 under the playfield no other numbers for an Elektra anywhere. It just dawned on me today while on IPDB that 1248 is the model number for Elektra.
I also found "Special AMOA" written under the Elektra units display. Anyone know what an "AMOA" is?

The AMOA show is were coin op. companies would display their new seasonal products.
There was a spring show and fall show.

Is it safe to assume that this machine may have been made to put on display at the AMOA show?

In other news I cleaned the front a bit so it looks somewhat less shitty now.
