Quoted from PinMonk:Now that it's a working product and not just a sensor chip, maybe you could take it and have Spooky run with it by integrating it into gameplay, changing tilt settings on the fly in the game to make it more or less sensitive based on modes where you HAVE to bump it to score more and modes where you can't move it at all would be pretty interesting.
Spooky and all P3-ROC users already have an accelerometer in their P3-ROC-based games. That's one of the core features designed into the P3-ROC and subsequently the P3 machines, and most of the ideas being discussed here are captured in our patent (priority date Jan 2012). Many of the ideas are already implemented in the P3 and other pinball machines. As such, most of the software features are pretty mature at this point.
Multimorphic is an advocate of new technology and innovation in pinball. In general, we discuss free licenses for use of our accelerometer-based IP with all P3-ROC customers who ask. We're more than happy to work with Jeff too, and I've reached out to him to start a dialogue. This situation can easily be a win-win-win. Cool ideas implemented in functional and beneficial ways for users.
