Well it's a civil lawsuit, not criminal. So that says a lot. Likely it's Elaut's attorney threading a needle with some vague contract language.

Okay. I'm not a lawyer, but why would this start as a civil action if there's a possibility of criminal wrongdoing? Is it just that Elaut is trying to get their $$ before the Feds step in? Why didn't they ask the Feds to investigate?
Embracing redemption is getting in bed with the devil, IMHO. I hate it when little kids play my games and then ask where the tickets come out. Redemption is gambling for toddlers, and it teaches them at an early age that they can't just play for the sake of fun - there has to be a "prize".
Oh, I agree that replays were like crack to me when I was a kid. But there's a big difference between a replay that you have to earn with skill, and a pile of tickets. Ask yourself why there are no replays on most redemption games - playing the game is just a means to get the tickets, not an end in itself.
