Page 43 in the manual says pin 3 is a spare, pin 4 was a key.

Double check in your own manual, I'm not positive the J1 on that page (power transformer module) is the same J1 you're looking at.
Thank you-upon checking J1 wiring scheme-the ribbon doesn't appear to follow the pattern, but the others do..more to ponder!
