Anyone know if an Eightball backglass would work in the EB Deluxe? It looks like they have the same dimensions and score slot windows look arranged the same. I Kind of like the regular EB picture better than the Deluxe cowboy one.

    Thanks

That would depend if you're talking about the 1st, 2nd (LE), or 3rd (swinging door) versions

1st edition should be a direct swap physically. I haven't looked but I'm almost positive that the HSTD, Extra Ball, Tilt, etc. would not line up as Bally moved those messages all over the place. I guess it's probably also safe to say that the positioning of the background lighting bulbs would be different.

Right good points. I didn't think about the ball save, tilt etc. Yeah the lighting would prob look a little off as well

I think Bally used the same backglass template for several years, however the glass thickness changed. An original 8-ball glass is probably too thick to fit into the glass channel of EBD.
