If it's the only option and it gets a game flipping, that's definitely different. But it's not hard to find a EBD playfield, just more money. If more money is what it takes to do it right, let's just do it right.
Same issues with "playfield protectors". They will never be on a game I own.
I have a playfield protector on my EBD and it’s fine, on others I have you can get air balls off posts. Not the end of the world.
I don't like the quality of new playfields after getting one from CPR this year so if I can touch up and cover that’s the way I’m going, life’s too short and times are hard. Also just fitted one to Future Spa and it’s great
