Does anyone why this number is stamped on the left side of outside cabinet and head? There is a different number on the paper inside. I can't figure out where the serial number is. Sorry if this is a double up. I'm new and just starting out

ok.. I found on IPSND that this is serial number. Why did they stamp on outside is my real question.

That is the serial number.

E = Electronic
ED = Eightball Deluxe
7283 = actual serial number
