Post a picture of the mech from the underside of the playfield. Maybe something is broken or binding.

Yeah using your finger see if both sides have a full range of motion, without any binding. Does the left fully extend when manually closed? If not your coil stop is probably too long.

Is the white kicker securely fastened to the plunger? There is a clip to hold it in place.
