There is a reason it is so cheap. It’s steel not copper.

Steel has about 10% of the conductivity of copper.

I guess because the job is about time and material. My time is not worth using the wrong material

Also I have some first hand experience with 12v halogen lighting. Steel ain’t the way To go...

Yes, you have to buy a lot of powder to get a custom color match. I think it's 1000 lbs. ( maybe 500)

Just remember the back of the cab is thin. Don't use long staples like i did.

Check your connectors again, looking especially for them being one pin over from where they should be.
