First post here, just picked up an ebd and after a bumpy ride home everything works except the trough outhole kicker is extremely weak, the ball barely moves. Switch is gapped correctly and no sign of corrosion. Tried reseating connector to no avail. Could this be a diode issue or should i be looking closer at the sdb

Thanks in advance, Chris

Thanks for the reply’s. All solenoids fired in the test mode. No legible writing on coil. I have a new coil coming from Marcos. I’ll start there, more to follow

Ill check it out after work, thanks for the tip

The expander relay is definately chattering. Looks like the bridge rectifiers are on the under side of the power supply board. Should the whole board be replaced

#2990 60 days ago

Look good to me. What do you think

I swapped in a rectifier board from my xenon with same results buzzing at the relay

#2997 60 days ago

Cleaned fuse holders, wired spare rectifier in parallel, back box is grounded, no change in seb when putting pressure on it. Also noticed top saucer does nothing during game play. Incandescent by seb.Could the seb be bad

Light flashes in unison.

The saucer coil work during solenoid test just seems weak

#3013 59 days ago

They do, tried pulling voltage during lamp test, dmm was all over the place

#3016 59 days ago

Should pin 9 have 43volts all the time

#3025 59 days ago

I get after it tommorow thaanks for ur help

Looks like i have 3.3 vdc coming off the rear bridge and at the light by the seb. It should be 6.5. The bridge has 25 ohms of resistance normal per schematic. What would this be a symptom of? Could this be my problem? My xenon has 3.3 vdc also.

Quoted from jj44114:

looks like the header joints were reflowed.

Turns out it was the bridge rectifier. TP1 was 3.8 vdc vs 6.5 vdc. Start at the power supply and work your way out. Could have saved some time. Thanks everyone for the input

Quoted from vec-tor:

Did you put the game in lamp test and listen the the
solenoid expander relay. You should here a clean "click"
If your here "chattering" Then the lamp bridge is going bad.

You called it, Br1 was bad thanks
