Very likely, they are all old, corroded and well past their 'use by date'.
Re-pinning will fix many problems and prevent many more but it is a tedious, thankless job that will take HOURS of boring work.

Intermittent and unreliable operation is going to be "the norm" until you re-pin all the connectors.
The machine can never be reliable with dodgy connectors all over the place.
