Hi All,

This solenoid expander board is not getting it's signal.

1) Ive replaced the SCR on the lamp board - didnt fix it
2) I replaced the lamp board with a working one - didnt fix it
3) Cables are ok between the lamp driver and expander board
4) 42v at the board
5) I replaced the solenoid expander board with a working one - didnt fix it (at this stage I was rather loud with my WTF!

Thoughts?

I'm struggling to trace where the lamp board gets its signal from to drive the IC U4 though to the SCR Q54 to the Expander???

Yes 6v and the cable is ok

and checked/changed the bulb

Solved - it was the Molex cable connector coming from the MPU to the Lamp board. One of the wires (originating from U11) was not making good contact. Maybe shifted about when I was fixing the MPU and Driver boards.

Next is 7 lamps are dead (not bulbs) and finally the sound board then this machine will be fully operational again. Last time it was played was seemingly over 10 years ago.
