Hi. I have a EBDLE i just picked up. It has a real nice playfield someone put in. My issue with it is when they put the inserts in for the drain on right side they mixed up the red and green.
So my D is red and Special is green.
Is there an easy way to fix?
I cant find just the D decal and hate to have to buy a whole set.
I see the inserts are available and cheap.
I just dont know exactly what kind to get just yet.
Will they get messed up removing them?
Will I mess up the playfield removing them?
Any advice would be appreciated.

You would need to heat up insert and tap it out. Then sand off the D and swap the two. Glue in and add new decal. Sounds like a lot of work with risk of playfield splitting around inserts. I would leave it or do a playfield swap with new playfield. A new playfield would add thousands of dollars in resale value.

I think that you’re stuck with it as it is.

I suspect that it is a playfield overlay and you would have to scrap it entirely if you go the route of swapping the two inserts as described by pindel.

It's not an overlay. At least I don't think it is.
It's a new playfield..
Do new playfields come with the inserts in them?
I don't know if it Is a new old stock or reproduction..
Would it still split you think?

Only you would notice that - it’s not going to be easy to fix. But it is doable...

Thanks all for the suggestions. I am leaving it for now. At least until I get everything else done the way I want it.
