Eight ball deluxe. Coil is good and tests proper. However the bumper when contacted with ball does not pop. Novice at repairs but I can follow directions. Appreciate any help here.

First thing is to make sure the switch is clean and adjusted properly. Also check for broken wires going to it or the coil.

Found the problem, cold solder joint on switch. Thanks for your help!
