Need some help.
Can someone post a picture of the J14 plug connection with wire colors? Mine was spliced and thenpins melted in the board. Trying to figure out what they are for and how to remedy this situation.

I appreciate those gentleman.
I have both of those and I’m afraid I do not know what the colors should be.
This is the color wires I have coming off power board to the plug....someone spliced a connector in and I believe put the pins in th wrong place (that’s why it melted the plug on board).
Can one of you confirm my wire colors to the schematic? I’m not too familiar with this. Thanks.

The wires from that J14 connector come from the power module board at connector J3. So you'll have to check the color wire positions on that J3 connector to match what's what.

Below is how they're marked on the schematics. The numbers to the left of the connectors are the color codes.

Actualy it does not matter...
They are all ground connections.
You can solder all the pins together to get a better ground connection.
See it as a ground upgrade as you will.

I've got a Escape from the Lost World in storage and two spare MPU boards that will need fixing.
When I do that I will also look for how the ground upgrade can be fully done.
I will post my results here and at the Pinwiki.

The attached image shows you the power supply connector at the other end (or source) of the wires at MPU J14 connector.
I've marked all the ground pins in blue.
As you can see J14 pins 2, 5, 6, 8 and 9 are all connected at the power supply.
To relieve the stress at the J14 pins you can solder a bridge across all the pins.
Maybe in your case you need to add some jumpers at the back of the board because of the burned pins and lack of solder pads.

Did you check my website http://www.inkochnito.nl
Look in the Tech Chart section or in the Bally section.
It's listed in both.
