not familiar with the game, so probably shouldn't reply, but for the 8 ball feature to award a credit, sounding the credit knocker, looking at the manual it is all related to REGISTER 44 entering a 0 or 1, and for the special to award a credit REGISTER 25 needs to be set to 3.
what do you have set at 44 & 25?
