I found out yesterday by som horrible circumstances that a friend that had withdrawn and , I thought, cast me aside was diagnosed with Huntington’s disease. I thought that I had done something and he just didn’t want to be around me but he was embarrassed and didn’t want anyone to know or see what it did to him. I said that real friends help friends no matter what. Anyway, I know pot helps a plethora of diseases if nothing but reduces the symptoms. Does anyone know if it would help with Huntington’s. I have access to vape cartridges with the oil and I could get them for him.

I would certainly try it and see if it helps. There's the stuff without the psychoactive THC, and then the "get high" stuff. Try them both. If either one reduces symptoms or even just makes him feel better, I would do that.

If he is in pain? yes. Believe it or not it helps better then any pharisaical opioid can help with. I'm a true believer in it.

I have Multiple Scrolsis and it helps emensly.
1/1 of THC and CBD.
Helps with the pain, headaches and mood. I also get some minor motor skills and coordination back while it's working. And my balance improves. MS and Huntington disease have many similar symptoms.

I had a stroke and three brain surgeries over the last three years.

I was completely devastated, and even though I get better, I fully understand chronic issues.

Unfornunately.

Marijuana. It is good for every thing. It is not bs. It can only help. In my opinion.

It has not been proven to cure anything yet. But I think it cures depression. And probably many other things.

Depression. It can be used effectively against it.

One key perhaps. And my parents generation thought it caused depression...

Yes 100% to the thc/cbd oil. And try and get the highest dosage as well. My uncle had Alzheimers and definitely helped with day to day life.

Worst case scenario he has a few smiles, best case it helps him deal with his disease in some way.

Go for it.

I dont think it could hurt to try. Worst case is a bad bout of paranoia, or no munchies for later

If you can find anything with lots of CBD in it I would highly reccomend that. May help with any bodily discomfort your friend is experiencing.

I own a shop in Washington state and we are medically endorsed. Not too sure what the laws are in your state though.

I've also found this to be true. I help a friend out with meds, who was shot in the head and is now paralyzed on one side and suffered from seizures. The 1 ratio works best for him.

My wife uses a 18/1 ratio and allows her with stretching to live a more mobile life. Others I have meet and my wife both agree that you need both to work the best. Just cbd is good but it needs the thc to somehow work magic. And you won't get stoned off it. Smoking canabis is just like taking medication it doesn't solve the problem but distracts you from the pain just like a pill but less harmful on the body and continues to work

A lifelong friend of mine is in the advanced stages of ALS. It is very helpful for him. Last year when my gizzards fell out and the hernia repair, I had no need for pain meds. My 2 cents give it a try.

Add me to the list that says it will hurt nothing to give it a try.

In 1971, I had two wisdom teeth pulled. That hurt. I took the prescribed Empirin but the pain remained for 2-3 days.

Later on, I had the other two Wisdom teeth pulled. This time my girlfriend and I sat at the edge of her parents swimming pool and toked up. I then went to bed, slept like a baby, and woke up the next day feeling refreshed.

Well he has withdrawn from the world and really can’t function well enough to work so it could only help.

You said it.... it can only help.
