Guys, you need to translate to Canadian. : Wtf, eh?

    #7 6 months ago

Nothing I can really say, the price says it all.

    #8 6 months ago

maybe the complete head is bolted to the topper and you get the head of the machine with it. With display and MPU board. And a hooker inside the head.

Thought it was still high but once you threw in the hooker I was all in

You’d be better off listing it on eBay, and let the bidders set the sale price
In all honesty, you’ll get what your after, I know of a number of people in Australia that would bid
Your for sale thread has already been derailed here by those who want the unobtainable for peanuts

    #11 6 months ago

    Great price, should sell quick.

    #12 6 months ago

Screw it im just gonna start bolting my games to the tops of toppers.

    #14 6 months ago

Well...I may be "missing my chance", and I could possibly see going Canadian dollars--quite the bargain, actually--but I have to draw the line at 3K US guv'ment money.

    #15 6 months ago

Funny, it is for sale for 2 750$ cad on Kijiji! Of course, people can sell at whatever price they want, but I always thought pinside was for the informed crowd market!

You did sell TWD topper so you could be correct.

Yep. the topper market is hot.

    #19 6 months ago

I was just reading in another thread about how cheap this hobby is...

    #20 6 months ago

You’d have to be a real horse’s ass to buy a topper at this price.

    #21 6 months ago

“ You prefer paypal warranty, no problem but you add 5% fees”

    LOL.

    *classy*

    #22 6 months ago

I am now quitting my job to manufacture these.

    #23 6 months ago

Of course it will sell, doesn’t mean it’s not ridiculous. Funny how this particular topper was criticized as being a cheap and nasty looking Fisher Price toy when it was released, and didn’t sell well - hence the limited numbers.

Personally I don’t understand this topper obsession going on now. It’s definitely a different era of pinball that doesn’t have anything to do with pinball and I’m beginning to think those that are chasing these toppers at these prices don’t actually really like pinball.

    #24 6 months ago

Anyone taking bets on what will be the first topper to sell for more than what you can buy the machine for?

    #25 6 months ago

Is this the stem topper? It looks awful to me

It still looks like a Fisher Price toy

    $10,000 by christmas

    #28 6 months ago

I have been trying to decide which of TMNT and AIQ was going to be my keeper. I am keeping both but after seeing the topper market explode going to sell both toppers.

    #29 6 months ago

UNbeleavable! I guess when I can sell my topper for another nib pin, it will go,go,go!!

I still think it is. I didn't buy it at $400 and I still wouldn't.

So some guy pays $2500 on eBay, and now the community is held to the actions of one guy?

Wow. $2500 for a Fisher Price look-a-like. For $500-$1000 more, you can get some B/W B-title games.

I loathe the fat cat movement that has happened to this hobby. I really miss the days it was mostly people who tinkered and restored games instead of check-writers that have really pushed this hobby into very undesired territory.

$2500 for plastic and LEDs that sits up there and lights up every once in a while.

    Unreal.

    You mean the RGP days....

that's what I was going to say. That was "before" pinside. Pinside was never the fixer group until the RGPers came over here.

    #42 6 months ago

That MEME needs to be updated. They need a mask on that sink.

    #43 6 months ago

I sold a non working one of these while pinside was down for $1500

    #44 6 months ago

I sold 4 toppers while Pinside was down. I can assure everyone, that any topper for sale before Pinside went down, is worth $1001.00 more now.

    Darn that's an ugly topper.
