I have been looking for years for these. I use to buy them from Radio Shack back in the day, & our local electronic wholesalers stocked them also. I'm in my 50's & still prefer these over the electric stations. You can change the tips which is good. There are many used ones on Ebay, which I would not buy. So if you are looking for new ones here they are. I bought four & they did accept my offer of $2 off each. Years ago I bought extra tips. Here is the info:

This is debated a lot but yes this is the best price/performance one you can get for the low end. I have used this one for about a year now. I feel I have reached my limit with board work with this tool and I'm going with the hakko FR300 fairly soon. I wish there was something in between.

Bought two Radio Shack desoldering irons during their going out of business sale (having used them for years), then about a month later, picked up this Circuit Specialists rebadged vacuum desoldering gun when Ebay had a $15 off $75 coupon.
