I have a EBD LE 1982 There are a couple extra components in the cabinet and I was hoping to reverse these modifications. Can anyone explain what these are and if they are supposed to be there or not.

I imagine the Bridge rectifier attached to the inside of the cab is bypassing one of the ones one the power supply.

Any help is appreciated

That additional bridge rectifier should be removed and original wiring restored if LEDs are installed. This common modification was put in series with the switched illumination bus to cut down the voltage to the 555 bulbs.

I installed dozens of these years ago in the distributor and route days as EBDs used to eat boxes of bulbs weekly.

Was a fluorescent bulb installed in the game? Why is there a little transformer and starter in the bottom of the cabinet?

The fluorescent bulb and starter are for the eight watt bulb behind the backglass. If that bulb has been replaced with LEDs that are not using the 120 volt line, these items can be removed from the game (as in my EBD LE)

Oh, didn’t notice it’s an LE.

I think that answers all my questions. A Fluorescent Bulb transformer, starter and br mod for the g.i. Thank you.
