I've got an Eightball Deluxe (two of them, strangely enough) but I can't get the "D E L U X E" lights and several others around the playfield to work. I've troubleshoot and replaced bulbs and fixtures throught the machine and I still can't the remaining ones to come on. I've also swapped out light drivers (old driver boards, not the all-tech replacement) between the two machines and get the same result on the machine I'm working on. I attempted to trace wires but I get lost as soon as I hit the wire bundles. I also swapped out the J2 IDC connector on the MPU board for a molex, no dice there and I don't see any other lose MPU wire connections.
Does anybody have any idea what this could be or how I could diagnose the problem better? Tried looking at some of the schematics but don't really know how to map things out there.

swapped sound boards between my two EBD's. Now some of the "DELUXE" lights come on on both games- really not sure what is going on here. Does some playfield light go through the sound board??
