Quoted from DesertPinhead:

OK, I've been researching 5101 NVRAM. It looks like there are a couple folks who sell an adapter gizmo that plugs into U8. Looks like I'm looking at about $20. Am I on the right track?

http://techniek.flipperwinkel.nl/ballyss/rep/index2.htm#flash yeah looks like no 3'rd flash is the 5101 , inspect the socket as well probably replace it if your comfortable with the soldering

yeah those NVRAM things are great and your on the right track
