My right bank of drop targets won’t reset after each ball or at end of game. The other ones do reset. Anyone have any advice on normal culprits of this?

    Thanks!

That’s a good question. I’m not hearing or seeing anything fire to try and raise them up when the rest of the cycle happens.

They will not reset on a new game, on new ball, or anything - they just stay down.

    Quoted from slochar:

Does the ball eject from the top right saucer when you put it in it?
If it does, the transistor is ok and you have a solenoid expander circuit issue, although that would be locked on which would be unusual (usually a solenoid expander doesn't fire, the 7 bank reset is on the unexpanded side of the circuit).
Most likely you have a bad driver transistor. Make sure in solenoid test that all the firing solenoids match their # on the display with their description in the manual. If they don't, you likely have a connector issue (lower right connector on the solenoid driver board is the usual suspect).
change anything in the machine lately? All the solenoid expander coils need to have 2 diodes on them (even though they have only 2 lugs) - its' odd the way it works, but if any of those coils have only the one diode, both solenoids attached to the circuit try to fire at once; the 7 bank reset is an exceptionally power hungry coil.

The saucer does eject. Light test won’t work and the solenoid expander is now vibrating or rattling

    Quoted from Inkochnito:

Did you do the Solenoid driver board upgrade?
Did you solder all the print headers on the Solenoid driver board?
Did you check the connectors (are they still IDC-style)?
Is the coil still good (about 3 or 4 ohm)?

No only board upgrade I did was the light board.
