I have an Eightball deluxe that is being a bit of a problem child. The game will turn on, the and the GI comes up, but the game doesn't seem to want to boot, so you can't start a game or run any tests. I had an issue like this before and I ended up having to tighten the vertical fuse holder by the power transformer. Tried that again a few times, but not luck. It has all-tech boards in it as well. Anyone have any ideas?
Well that was a quick solve..I went back to looking at it, and it sounded like maybe there was a bad ground or something (staticky sound from the speakers) starting jiggling some wires to see if I could get anything and finally went to look at the boards again. Jiggled one of the wires going to the mpu board (pictured below) and she came alive...weird though as it looks properly soldered on..
