He lists everything overpriced. I don't suppose he sells much of anything.

eBay is definitely on crack. There is a video of Toronto Rob Ford, and eBay smoking crack together. Boom. Topical.
The prices listed on eBay are usually insane when compared to other more reasonable outlets. However from a seller's perspective why wouldn't you list it high? If someone actually buys it at the listing price you have a great price even after the fees are taken out. If someone makes a cash offer outside of eBay for less you could still make a good deal.
Like others have said, eBay is what it is.. good advertizing.
I've seen links to that $5400 Gorgar posted several times now, so you know its good advertizing to list crazy prices.
I don't think eBay was really designed for selling items the value and size of a pinball machine anyway. So it should be expected that there are some logistical issues with it. High value items and things that generally would be picked up in person don't really fit the model very well.
This is my personal favorite that has been up for a while now.... I'm sure these are "one of a kind, rare parts"...

Quoted from j_m_:btw, that Stargate key fob ebay seller's response to me:
"You have no clue to what your talking about.......you obviously do not collect pinball promo plastics to know the story behind this particular key chain. Instead you think its a joke that its blank."
LOL
As soon as I see an author not know the difference between "your" and "you're" I make a judgement on their cognitive level.
Quoted from j_m_:I was hoping that he could have used their instead of they're as well
"There" you go. Nailed it lol.
