The manual lists 4 short star posts and lots of taller star posts. Where do the 4 shorter star posts go?
One is used for each outlane post. Another one goes just above the right outlane post. Not sure where the fourth one goes, but I bet it's under a plastic, like the other three.
Wait, are you serious? I just ordered 25 normal star posts for Elvira and now you're saying that is mostly wrong? Would it be possible to use the normal star posts anyway for posts that don't mount to anything else? Where in the manual did you find that list, I looked everywhere. I just assumed everything is a normal star post after working on Police Force.
They're slightly taller than normal posts. There are 4 regular, 12 tall, and 23 skinny if I remember correctly. I think you could get away with using the regular ones in some spots but not all. The problem being that those skinny red posts are just slightly taller than a normal post.
Another question mystic. The part # for the red tall narrow posts is 03-8365-9 on PBL/Marco but is 03-8279-9 in the manual. Will these work as a substitution? If not, where did you find these?
Ok, what about these? According to this photo those are not ribbed posts, yet I don't see those taller star posts online. The part number brings me to this result:
