Just picked up an Elvira, the coin door buttons are not working. Has anyone else experienced this issue and solved it.

Quoted from Pinsrgrt:

Just those buttons or are there others on the door not working, will it coin up? How is the MPU, any acid damage or hacked wiring? If you can you add a picture of the MPU maybe we can spot something?

Just them three buttons on the door. Game coins up and plays. Mpu seems pretty clean I'll take a picture tomorrow

Quoted from grantopia:

Drop it off at my place the next time you are up at Kidforce, problem solved .
Have you checked the actual wiring at the buttons? I've had it come loose before.

Lol will do, I did check the wires they are fine and connected.

Jumped the wires to the button still did not work. Cleaned them buttons and nothing. Going to look at the connectors some more tomorrow.

Quoted from Pinsrgrt:

Still would like to see a good picture of the MPU as I am betting there is some corrosion?

There was no corrosion pretty confident. I'll take a picture of it tomorrow and post it. My dad was the one looking at it today. Someone we know said the wiring on the J13 and J14 connector might be reversed. I'll be in front of the game tomorrow will get pics.
