East Side Pinball is moving

It may be hard to believe, but this adventure started back in October 2013 with only two pinball machines and zero operating experience.

Since then, we have expanded to as many as thirteen machines on location. We have seen East Side Pinball evolve from a few machines in a bar to a full-fledged arcade operation. In that time, we've cycled through over 30 different machines, hosted multiple launch parties, held countless tournaments, and have become home to various weekly leagues.

It's safe to say that we have learned a lot together. Through all of the fun and frustration that comes with being an operator, one constant has remained. You, THE PLAYERS, are the reason East Side Pinball has flourished over the last four years.

Many of you may not know this, but I was a manager at Sun Ray Lanes roughly 14 years ago. This center has always been special to me and having the opportunity to operate my games here has been an absolute dream come true. With that being said, the time has come for a change.

East Side Pinball has grown so much over the last four years and the simple fact is that we have outgrown our current space. As we look forward towards expanding our operation, Sun Ray Lanes is also looking to expand and add some new features for their bowlers. We have been working very closely with the owners and managers of Sun Ray and have ultimately decided to move East Side Pinball to The Mermaid in Mounds View, MN, which is another Anderson Companies location.

We are tremendously excited to be getting a new home! East Side Pinball will now have an opportunity to grow beyond the limited space we have at Sun Ray. Our move to The Mermaid will see an EXPANSION of our pinball collection, a LARGER seating area for leagues, tournaments, and events, MORE TVs, and MORE SPACE to grow. The Mermaid also offers a full restaurant and an expanded bar.

I really want to thank each and every one of you for supporting us at Sun Ray Lanes. It has been an amazing ride and I can’t wait to build a bigger and better pinball experience at The Mermaid! We are very excited about our new home and hope you will come and join us as we enter this next chapter.

Saturday, August 19th, 2017 - Last day to play all of our games at Sun Ray Lanes.

Sunday, August 20th, 2017 - Moving the following games to the Minnesota State Fair, Pinball on-a- Stick: Star Wars, Aerosmith, Ghostbusters, Game of Thrones, Walking Dead, Metallica, South Park, & Meteor.

3 games will remain at Sun Ray Lanes during the fair.

Thursday, August 24th - Monday, September 4th, 2017 - Pinball on-a- Stick 2017 at the Minnesota State Fair.

Wednesday, September 6th, 2017 - Open for business at our new location, The Mermaid in Mounds View, MN. Join us for our opening week through Sunday, September 10th. All games 2 for $1 when you use PayRange.

Super League will continue and all prizes will be doubled through December.

Thursday, September 14th, 2017 - Fall leagues kick off at our new location. As a token of our appreciation, no league fees will apply and everyone who registers and attends will receive FIVE free games with PayRange.
