Williams, 1989I'm fixing up an ES and just installed a new XPin display but it does nothing. There is power because a green LED comes on but pressing the test button does nothing, also tried the brightness control on the side. I'm waiting for bestofpinball.de to respond to my email but in case anyone here knows of something stupid I have forgotten, please say!

All working now 
Brett from XPin mentioned that it would not display anything (even in test mode) without a valid strobe from the Sys11 board, which pointed the finger at the 74154 TTL chip. A bit of delicate soldering and I have a working display...
