how come you paint the entire cabinet when the decals cover it all? (ie from factory only the back is painted?) i notice this on alot of restore threads.

I have want to restore the cabinet and put new decals on but am unsure weather the whole thing needs painting? only to be covered by decals.

looks great though are they original alphanumerics or replacement led?

I see that makes sense thanks for clearing that up is it ok to just roller on the paint? or has to be sprayed?
