Wow, that thing is rough! I'm all for bringing beater pins back to life, but I would pass.

$2k in parts would probably get it working and playable again, but nowhere near "minty." For reference, I bought a pretty nice (not perfect) ES earlier this year for $2200 and I don't think that one could be made as good as mine with that kind of investment. They always have a lot more wrong with them than you initially see, and I see a lot already!
