I remember playing various pinball, Williams baseball game and rifle games at the bowling alley and slot car track as a kid.
I'm sure there was certainly a lot of game-to-game variation in how much these games earned for the distributor/retailer, I'm wondering how they fared relative to each other - i.e., did pinball games generally earn more or less than a baseball game? rifle game?
I love the artwork, mechanical nature and pop culture history of this era, would love to learn a little more of the business side.
Finally, on the IPDB I never see any information on production #'s for the baseball games. I remember seeing them a lot as a kid, did they make them in great numbers? 2,000? 5,000? per title?
PS - About to pick up my first baseball game - 1966 Williams Pitch and Bat. Very excited.
